The Sims ???

I have the Original Sims computer game. I've played it numerous times but my people die all the time or things get so bad i have to start a new game.. anybody who plays the game have a strategy they use?? like when they should eat etc... utilities

so yea thanksThe Sims ???
I used to have the same problem. What I did was I started just using one sim at a time, until I got better at the game, like learning what made the one sim happiest. Once I got good at that, I was able to keep my families happy (most of the time). Use cheat codes like rosebud or motherlode to get more money -- i'm pretty sure you hit control+alt+c to get the bar, and then enter motherlode--. Once you have a lot of money, build them a large house that has enough room so nobody gets cramped. I suggest keeping it one floor though, because the more floors there are, the easier it is to lose track of you sims. Make sure to have lots of phones, and a fire alarm by the stove and fireplaces. Also have alarms by the doors in case of burglars. Another way to keep sims happy is to make sure your house has lots of good recreational items. When your buying items for your house, check how much good they do for your person, and try to buy the objects that do the most. Also, just adding a painting or plants can make the sims SOO much happier. Hope this helps, and good luck!

It's not really that easy for your sims to die as long as you take care of them. Pay attention to their bars so you know when they're hungry, tired, etc. Do your best to keep your sims bars up. Also, it is easy to get overwhelmed by having too many sims living in one house. I'm not sure how you've been doing it but try by starting out with only one sim, or two sims living together and just get used to keeping them happy. Also, in the original sims, there's a painting of a hamster and there's a painting of a clown... if you've bought those in the past, maybe you should try leaving them alone. The picture of the hamster will actually make your sims sick! If you have the clown then at certain points in time a clown comes out and bugs your sims, making them irritated. The Sims ???
keep their mood up and avoid the clown, keep an eye on all of their needs and don't just focus on one sim in the family.
Well, I'm addicted to the sims and I'm probably an expert. Your sims will survive if you.....

-Feed them well

-Give them protection and safety

-Have enough sims currency

-pay attention to their actions/behaviors

why?

You must feed them well so they can survive, obviously.

Just in case there are burgulars, you should give them a phone on a table in your sim's bedroom, you'll also need fire alarms.

Your sims will need a lot of appliances, try some cheats, like rosebud

Pay attention, some will have to go to the bathroom, or they're feeling sad, or happy, or in love. Make your sim live well and you'll be successful. The Sims ???
Check they're mood every few minutes %26amp; and you should try sims 2.
Well you have to be more specific. I'll give you some cheats, but you have to know what game you are playing...

* Press ctrl+c+shift before entering cheat codes.

- The Sims 2:

BoolProp testingcheatsenabled true

After you type in the cheat code, go to the mail box right click it, and then select 'cheer everyone up'. It's something like that.

-The Sims Complete Collection:

Move_objects on

Press F2 and click on the sim you want to 'cheer up'. You have to delete that sim. Then press F1 and click on the sim that you deleted. Before you do that, I suggest that you save the game first or you sim might loose some skill points, their job, etc.

If you don't want to use these cheats, then just keep a very close eye on your sim(s). If it gets hungry, then feed it. If it gets tired, then let him or her sleep on the couch, floor, bed, etc. You get the idea. Just make sure nothing starts to go to red.

As for the rest, you will need the following...

- Toilet

- Bed

- Refridgerator

- Shower

- Chairs

- Bookshelf, T.V., etc.

- Paintings, sculptures, etc.
These Are A Few Things You Need To Do :

1. Feed Your Sims - This is obviously so they dont die for starving this will keep there hunger up but put there bladder down.

2. Money - Get a job in the army this pays good and all you mainly need are body skills and friends for this job.

3. When you first start a home buy things like eg.

. A Cooker and Fridge

. A Bed

. A Toilet

. A TV For ther Fun

. And pick a skill item which you will use for your job

Also get the main things such as a phone, smoke alarm and a burgalar alarm.

Get friends by when they first come to your house and invite them chat with them and then phone it's an easy way to gain solcial and make friend.

Hope This Helps.
