The Sims....?

I have the sims 1 for playstation, and I now want to get one for my computer. (XP) I want one that you can have a family and build your own house and stuff....what one would you recomend?The Sims....?
I am a huge fan of the Sims!! Um it is hard to find Sims 1 games anymore, so i would go with Sims 2 for xp. The bad thing about the Sims is that you have to buy the original Sims 2 before you can buy additional extensions games on it. So buy the Sims 2, then you can start buying extension packs, like Sims2 University, Sims2 Pets, Sims 2 Open for Business, Sims 2 Nightlife and so on. They are quite expensive so if i had to pick one it would probably be Sims 2 Nightlife! It is way fun. But Sims 2 Open for Business is really fun too! So i would go with one of those too.! Sims 1 - Great for slow computers but gets a bit boring...



Sims 2 - Might be a bad idea if you have a crappy computer, but Sims 2 is so much better... everyone picks Sims 2 over 1 and there are lots more downloads for Sims 2.



If you're buying, obviously Sims 2 will cost more...
