The sims????????

Okay I'm about to buy my daughter the sims but she said that there is a game you half to have before you have any of the other ones. What is is calledThe sims????????
Yes you have to buy the plain one first(The Sims 2), not an expansion(ex.The Sims 2 Nightlife) or stuff pack(ex. The Sims 2 Family Fun Stuff).
yeah, same thing happen to me. I did'nt know at frist then I read it you must have the sims 2.

Which sims are you trying to buy? If it's the sims 2, you must buy the original Sims 2 game before you get any other expansion packs. I suggest buying the Sims 2 Deluxe Edition, then you can get a great deal and your daughter will be able to buy the other expansion packs later.
u have to buy the original sims 2 and in the cd case u have to download all 4 cd before u can play to other sims games.

like if u want to play sim seasons u have to download sims 2 first lol yea ur gonna have to spend a couple $$The sims????????

The base game is required to use any of the expansions and stuff packs. The base game also comes in 2 versions. If you have a dvd drive built into your computer or external you should buy the sims 2 dvd edition. If you don't have a dvd drive for your computer you have to buy The sims 2 pc. The pc one is 4 discs and the dvd one is only one disc for the instilation.



Expansion packs are much larger then the stuff packs. They have more objects and new features.



Stuff packs are small expansions that have some new features and objects.
